Growing up, my aunt would make a big batch of these cookies every Christmas and store them in a large tin. They were everyone's favorite, and that tin would empty fast! These buttery cookies, with a hint of almond, are rolled in powdered sugar while still warm, giving them the perfect soft sweetness. Similar to Butter Balls or Mexican Wedding Cookies, these originated in Germany and are shaped into delicate crescents. This recipe makes plenty—perfect for sharing with family or gifting to friends!

4 cups flour

1 1/2 cup sugar

3 tsp vanilla

1 cup blanched almonds, ground

1 cup pecans, ground (I use a food processor)

Preheat oven to 275° F. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Cream butter and sugar, add other ingredietns and...

My mom always made this dessert during the height of summer, when the variety of fresh fruit was abundant. It's colorful and perfect for a backyard BBQ or special occasion. My favorite fruit toppings are nectarine or peach slices, kiwis, grapes and any berries. Tip: If you're pressed for time, use pre-made sugar cookie dough for the crust. Enjoy this delicious treat!

1 cup sugar

2 cups flour

1 egg

½ cup butter, softened

1 tsp vanilla

½ tsp. baking powder

Cream butter and sugar, add egg and dry ingredients. Press into a 12" pizza pan and bake at 350°F for 10 minutes. Let cool completely.

Cream Cheese Layer:

8 oz cream cheese, softened

¼ cup sugar

Cream together and spread on cooled crust....

Inspired by the famous Jennifer Aniston salad, this is an easy and delicious fresh salad that packs a nutritional punch and can be enjoyed for lunch, as a dinner side dish, or put inside a wrap. The options are plentiful, and so is the bright flavor. Plus, you can easily customize it to your taste preferences.
